Is it possible to get a false positive alcohol reading if you did not have any alcohol?

My friend hasn't had a drink in 8 years, yet the other day she had a positive reading for alcohol in her urine. Could this be the cause of medication or something else. Is it possible to get a false positive alcohol reading if you did not have any alcohol?
i know that using mouth wash that has alcohol in it can cause a false positive but its usually not in the urine only on like breath test. maybe ur friend isnt be honest w/ u because he or she is afraid of you and or others being disappointed in him or her. Sometimes, medicines have alcohol. In this case, they have warnings stating that you should not drive or operate machinery for a period of time.
Pretty iffy

Some meds could cause it depends.

Some chemo therapy will cause a positive breath test.

Those test are not 100% I don't care what the co's say.
are you sure he/she hasnt had a drink? I am tested all the time and have never got a positive result unless I drank.
