How does faith qualify anyone to declare something as true or false?

Christians, for example, are always declaring that they know their beliefs are true by faith and they also declare all other belief systems to be false by the same faith. This could be rather tricky, because, when you say Christians, there is an assumption that all Christians are united in their dogmas. But no, they are not. Thats why the church has so many factions. Of cause there are the basic beliefs which are supported by the Bible. But for me, its because it makes so much sense that I would be a jeck if I doubted it. So, to some extent, there are Christian beliefs which are personal, because there is no general consensus.
The Bible tells us what is right and wrong~ the truth~ IN Faith we experience THE power of His truths through our daily lives as He grow us INTO His service.

The catholic church believes there are rays of truth in the other religions but she proclaims out loud that Jesus Christ is son of the living God who pays for the penalty of our sins...who gives us eternal life...
