What happens if you give a false positive for drugged driving, but you cannot prove your innocence?

If you are pulled over by the police while driving, and you give a false positive on a saliva test for drugs, what happens?

ie, say you test positive for amphetamine multiple times, but you have not taken any and you do not have a prescription - what can you do? what can you use in your defence in court? What happens if you give a false positive for drugged driving, but you cannot prove your innocence?
If you test positive multiple times, they are not going to consider it a false positive. False positives usually happens once.

I would suggest finding a list of all substances that could interfere and cause a false positive for the given test, and there are a lot of things that do. For example poppy seed muffins can cause a false positive for opiates on a urine drug screen.

If you have taken something that does interfere let your attorney know.

Failing that, they are not going to believe you, because everyone who goes to court tries to make that claim. What happens if you give a false positive for drugged driving, but you cannot prove your innocence?
The screening test is not used in court. There should be another test, of blood or urine, and that sample is available for re-testing. Get a lawyer and have the lawyer arrange for independent testing.
Your Screwed! Sorry!
well, I say when you go to court take the prescription with you as proof.
