What happens to a court officer when they file false police report and order of protection?

What happens to a male court officer (The brother)when they file a false police report and has an order of protection against his sister to hide the fact that he is abusing his mother and she has the proof. She already has a lawyer and is ready for trial. What can I do in the mean time to protect my mother. I already have power of attorney and am in the process of obtaining guardianship over her affairs.What happens to a court officer when they file false police report and order of protection?
