Mine used to have them ! It could certainly be the case for yours. You'll know soon enough!
Let the vet know she has the false pregnancies when you take her to be spayed because i think it may affect the timing of when they should do it, hormone levels or what have you. the vet will know!
Also, mine used to get a little moody when she was ';pregnant';, so be mindful of that and don't be surprised if she's a little snappy or aggressive. The condition isn't something that is dangerous to her health, at least that is what my vet told me.How can I tell if my chihuahua is having a false pregnacy?
And you allowed her to have ';relations';
Shame on you
Why didn't you get her spayed in the first place? and then keep her away from possible ';relations'; in the second place?
Looking at your Questions history.... you ahve asked questions for the past MONTH trying to find out answers
People keep answering ';Take your dog to the VET';
In the month since your first question... HAVE YOU BOTHERED TO GO TO THE VET????!!!!???
A false pregnancy in dogs looks very very very similar to a true pregnancy. You might just have to kinda wait and see...but do keep an eye on her. Little breed dogs can have issues when they give birth and if she does go into labor and has problems you want to be able to get her help or the puppy as well as her could die.
If you dont want to take any chances I would take her to the vet. False pregnancy can turn out to be an infected uterus or something else.
Here's hoping to no pups...just keep a watchful eye!
