I go with islam or catholics because of my own personal reasons. Which one would you think the false prophet would be associated wiith?

Catholics are the only ones following Jesus. Jesus' words set up the Catholic Church. It is those other denominations that worship false figures. Anglicans with Henry XIII, and his desire for a son. Protestants and their power-hungry seperatist leaders. They all have the same story, and are all wrong.

From the way I read it, The Beast founds an entirely new religion and proclaims himself to be God on Earth. So he is a ';beast-worshipper'; I guess you could say.
when you consider the catholics teach the truth, that leaves the other 40,000 denominations all giving there version of the truth.

He'll pass himself off as the Jewish Messiah, won't he? My guess is that he'll be Jewish. (I'm referring to the Anti-Christ, as well.)

it's relative - if the profit comes to one persons religion, they may believe or disbelieve, and the same to another...
