It can last as long as a pregnancy. Only way to know for sure is to go to the Vet and have a pregnancy test done.How long does a false pregnancy present in Chihuahuas?
How can you NOT know if your dog is pregnant or not? Why isn't she spayed? You do know that Chihuahuas have a hard time with whelping and very often need c-sections which will cost you upwards of $1500.00 with the likely possibility of your dog losing her life due to whelping/pregnancy complications? If she is pregnant, your vet can do an abort. If not, have her spayed ASAP.
Some will stop but most will go the full 9 weeks. You want to know if she's pregnant or not see your vet. Don't have the money for a vet or don't want to spend the money? Then have her spayed. A pregnant dog needs vet care
