Infomercials make claims that simply cannot be true. Reversing baldness, increasing the size of certain anatomical apparatus, and the use of magnets and/or LED lights to rid ourselves of the symptoms of joint or muscular issues. Isn't there a law that requires advertisers to be truthful? these are all bold faced lies and I wonder how they are permissible.How does false advertising relate to infomercials that flat out lie about their products?
Generally to get around the laws for that, all the advertisers have to do is put up a tiny little disclaimer for a split second saying something along the lines of, ';This product may not have the same results for everybody.';
That's all it takes. I don't like it, but all you can really do is turn the channel.How does false advertising relate to infomercials that flat out lie about their products?
i honestly don't know the direct answer. But they will always turn it around to fine print. almost every infomercial has small print everywhere.
the same way pharmaceutical (drug) companies do advertising with cash.
the Nazis had strict control of the media is that an idea.? oops we got Patriots-Act
every country / media has snake oil sellers.

relax , hug ur kids, don't buy what u don't believe in
Nobody wants to spend the time and energy to ATTEMPT to prove that the claim is false.
going before a judge is a crapshoot and the counter suit could be painful
