How likely is it to get a false positive on a pregnancy test?

Ive taken 2 pregnancy tests and both are positive , just wondering how likely it is that you can get a false positive.How likely is it to get a false positive on a pregnancy test?
You're pregnant. Don't doubt the tests. They are only positive if the hormones are present and the hormones are only present when you're pregnant. So congratulations! Call your doctor asap.





The only way you can get a false positive is a faulty test and that's extremely rare. The chance that both are faulty is pretty much 0%. And they would not look like a normal positive result. How likely is it to get a false positive on a pregnancy test?
Its not unlikely. Congrats you Are definatly pregnant. Its more common for False Negatives. If you want to make sure, go to the Docs for a Blood test. that will tell you for sure you are Pregnant!
Doesn't happen. False negative, yes sometimes happens (especially if taken early). But sweetheart, your chances of getting not one, but TWO false positives are next to zero. You are preggers.

Its pretty damn rare and near impossible too get a false positive.
