Is it possible to have a false negative pregnancy test, or only false positive?

I have taken a pregnancy tes, and it was negative, however, I still haven't gotten my period, and I am having some symptoms of early poregnancy...? Just cuiosu if nayone has had a false negative test before?Is it possible to have a false negative pregnancy test, or only false positive?
I believe it is more common to get a false negative than a false positive (False positives are rare if the test is kosher and taken properly) . If you think you may be pregnant and have gotten a false negative I would retake the test in a few days. If you still have concerns get a blood test, sure way to tell if you are or aren't.Is it possible to have a false negative pregnancy test, or only false positive?
Its possible to have a false negative test if its too early in the pregnancy.





But again, one time I got the same problem like you. Did not get my period in 2 weeks, got all the pregnancy symptoms, got a pregnancy test but the result was negative.





I decided to wait for another week before going to the doctor, but turned out I am not pregnant. 2 days after I tested myself, I got my period. so yeah, sometimes its really tricky.





If youre worried and u want to make sure asap, just go to the doctor.

yupp i got a false negative. i took a test the day of my missed period and it said negative and the next day i took another one and it said positive. you dont get false positives though. good luck
